Grupo Fome Artes das Amazônias is an independent art collective working across the Amazon regions, dedicated to the production and circulation of contemporary arts. Its practice is rooted in experimentation, accessibility, and the belief that culture should not be a privilege.

Through theater productions, art-centered workshops (theater, photography, visual arts), and audiovisual projects, Grupo Fome challenges exclusionary cultural structures. The collective treats art as a tool for access, dialogue, and visibility, especially for voices historically pushed to the margins.

The visual identity was developed at the request of playwright and founder Henrique Campelo, who envisioned an identity capable of translating the meeting of the Rio Negro and Solimões rivers.

This geographical and symbolic convergence informed the forms, the symbol construction, and the overall visual language, carrying a distinctly Amazonian presence throughout the identity.

One that reflects resistance, territory, and cultural continuity.
